Dear 5th grade families,

Please join us for a middle school information night on Thursday, February 8 from 6:30-7:30pm in the SES auditorium. This meeting will educate families and students about our middle school academic program and help students get a better idea of the ways in which middle school is different from their K-5 experience (and ways it’s also the same).

Please note that due to our over-enrollment in middle school over the past two years, we have very few lottery slots for 6th grade next year. Every current 5th grader is guaranteed enrollment in 6th grade, as long as they reside within the city/PPS boundaries; however, if friends who do not attend Sunnyside are curious about our program, please know that we only have 5 open lottery slots for next year so we can keep our class sizes at an appropriate size.
