On March 7, the PPS Board of Education voted to change the April 7 teacher-planning day to an instructional day and to extend the school year to June 15.

Some charter schools may have different schedules and families should check with their schools.

Calendar change DOES NOT affect graduation dates for seniors.

These calendar adjustments are necessary because PPS schools were closed for nine instructional days due to winter weather in December and January.
