Thursday, June 7, 8:45-9:45am: Room Parent appreciation and information coffee hour
Are you someone who loves to stay informed of all the happenings at school? Do you thrive when able to connect others and build community? Have you been looking for the right way to contribute to the SES community that fits into your own timeframe? Being a Room Parent might be a great fit! This role is vital to the classroom community and serves to support the teachers in an important way.
Please join the current and incoming Room Parent Coordinators, Justine Light and Jessica Oskin, respectively, along with current, seasoned Room Parents for coffee, treats and information about the Room Parent Role. We will meet in the library after drop off on Thursday, June 7. This is a great time to find out more about the job and ask for valuable first-hand experience and tips from others who have done the work. If you are unable to make the event but are still interested, please email firstname.lastname@example.org more info or to put your name on the roster of possible Room Parents for 2018-19 school year. Your interest does not mean commitment at this point, so come on by!
