Join our party-planning committee! 👯🎉
Do you want to provide a critical role in supporting student success? Are you passionate about charity events, asking people for money, and getting free merch from local businesses? Then we need you to join our fundraising committee! Fundraising is one of the most important functions of the PTSA. Not only does the money we raise go towards fun events for our students, but it also pays for some of our beloved staff salaries and many of the unique field trip opportunities that are essential to the Sunnyside curriculum. To learn more about how to get involved, please email the PTSA fundraising chair, Justine Reimnitz (she/her), at justinereimnitz.

Bike Bus starting Wednesday, Sept 28! 🚲🚵
Due to overwhelming interest and nice weather, we are starting the Sunnyside bike bus NEXT WEDNESDAY! Bike to school with fellow families on Sept 28, Oct 5, and Oct 12 (which is Walk and Roll to School Day- we’ll have a big bike bus, prizes, and stickers that day)! Meet at Salmon & 23rd, Taylor & 41st, or Oak & 33rd at 8:20 am, and pedal off at 8:25 am. ⏰🚸 You can also join the group along the route. Each route will have grownup leaders to help keep everyone safe. Bikers should have a working bike that they know how to ride, a helmet, and a lock for securing the bike at school (or a grownup to take the bike home). If you have any questions contact alidacantor.
